U14 Girls Travel to Ipswich, Win on the Road

Another good win by the Youngblood’s Lion Cubs this week against Ipswich. The outside
shooting from the beginning of the game was accurate. Putting the
Youngblood’s girls in the lead from the start of the game. The
girl maintained their determination and made it hard for the opposition to
come back at them.

The team were defending strongly if they lost the ball, they
worked hard to get it back and that resulted in quick transition transfer
into points. Standout players this week was Leia Edwards, with all-round
good court game and a long shot that was impressive, and Fatima Jennah
who tries hard all game and playing some very good basketball.
