Lions welcome a Warriors team to St Bonaventure’s School for their second encounter of the season. The first encounter would see the lions sail through with a 122 – 22  win. The Lions were without 3 key players, Sultan, Luca and Samzel.

Lions got off to a great start with Ben scoring with ease after a string of passes. Jhani ran the lane multiple time and was rewarded with excellent passes to get him off the mark. Jayden’s defence intensity proved vital along with Marc’s instrumental leadership helping the Lions to a 36-6 lead.

More fast brakes came in the second quarter as Alfie found his rhythm scoring 8 his 18 points and assisting 11. The opponents showed resilience throughout as their new talisman came out fighting. They played with more an edge than the first encounter. But the Lions proved too strong extending their lead to 66-15.

3rd and 4th quarters gave the Lions a chance to run their plays and work on their defence. Demi had an amazing game scoring a game and a season-high 31 points following his birthday, he would also grab 16 rebounds. This would see the Lions reach new heights winning 126-29.
