The Under 14 Girls are stomping through the National league. The teams walked out on the court for what promised to be an entertaining game.

Youngblood’s won the tip and Anais went to the basket with a lay-up for the first basket of the game, but Norfolk bounced back at the beginning but the young team applied pressure right from the beginning of the game and finished the first quarter with a 23-9 to The Youngblood’s Lion Cubs.

The play from both sides was aggressive and Youngblood’s managed to claim a large percentage of the offensive rebounds thanks to Bethany & Anais, but they were forced to take long shots at the basket which proved to be no problem for Leia, Esme and Fatima end of the third quarter 79-24 to the Cubs.The final quarter saw some examples of good shooting from Youngblood’s with Esme, Fatima and Tinu all sinking three’s. New players into the game Gracia and Chantelle all contributed to the game and Chantelle managed to score her first basket ever! In National competition!
