Youngbloods brought the game to the Angel’s straight away which put the Angel’s on the backfoot. Scoring the first two points of the game went to Tinu Fakunle, quickly doubled from birthday girl Fatama Jenneh drive to the basket. The Youngbloods team hustle on the ball while in defence caused the Angel’s to turn over the ball which the Youngblood’s girls converted into points in transition.

Youngbloods point guard hit a three-pointer in the first minute of the final quarter and after a great defensive stop from the Youngblood’s ‘Lil Miss Hustle’ stealing the ball and making an easy lay-up. Youngbloods Lions quickly brought their lead to a 10 point margin.  Jenneh, Fakunle, Campbell & Edwards continuing to score with ease the game showed no signs of going any other way than a win for the Lion Cubs despite the full court press applied by Haringey Angels, sealing the victory 67-60 final score.
