Under 18 Women advance to National Final Fours

The Under 18 Youngbloods girls took the long trip to Manchester. Walking into the huge arena to be met by the Manchester Mystic team was pretty daunting and I was worried that the Youngbloods girls would be overawed. I did’nt need to worry as the girls stepped on the court and from the start showed that their intention was to go to the Final 4’s. After the 1st half Youngbloods had a 20 point lead.

However the Mystics refused to go out without a fight and they battled in the 3rd to bring the game to a draw. Youngbloods was not phased and quickly replied with a 3 from Camille Francis. Manchester was spent and could not contain the constant penetration of the East London girls. Youngbloods go to the finals 4’s in Sheffield with a 64-59
