
7 Youngbloods players represent London at RDTs
Youngbloods has 6 representatives at the recent Basketball England Under 13 Regional Development Tournament (RDT) which took place at the National Basketball Centre, Manchester the past weekend. Whilst also Ines Goryanova represented the U12 London Select team who finished as Champions at the beginning of the month at Brunel University Uxbridge
Despite the lure of the current hot weather, parents and fans alike flocked to the National Basketball Performance Centre to watch London Boys and East Girls claim the spoils as overall winners.
Youngbloods representatives were Leia Edwards who played her heart out for the U13 London Region Girls who finished 5th overall. Whilst 5 players represented the U13 London Region Boys team who finished as the Regional Development Tournament Champions. The Boys representing were: Jayden Baldie, Adrian Bernardo, Elisee Guede, Noah Myers and Ethan Taasin.
“To have 7 players from one club representing the London Region at the regional development tournaments is such an accomplishment for the players at our club,” said Head Coach Caroline Charles, “The boys and girls have shown that their skill set is of a very high standard. They have worked hard at all their training sessions and throughly deserve their spot in the teams. Fantastic job to all players”
