Newham Youngblood’s Lions had an emphatic win at home on Sunday, defeating Surrey
Rams 92-27 in the Basketball England U14 Boys Premier Division.

The game was a one-sided affair throughout, as Youngblood’s exerted their dominance
in each quarter of the game. Despite both sides being short-handed. The superior
size, strength and speed of the Youngblood’s Lions side was on full show as **Christian
Adun, Roman Pitoula **and** Megane Stanley** dominated on the inside when brought
together by the quick pace of **Neave Gregoire-Clarke, Joshua Morgan** and Defensive
Hustle of **Edas Rukas **and** Nathaniel Boatey** made it a tough team for the away
to come against.

“It was a game where we stuck to our style of basketball, fast-paced strong inside
presence. The boys played today with freedom created by confidence and they should
be proud of themselves with more yet to come!” said Coach **Aaron Senior**

Youngblood’s Lions will look to continue their strong showing season in the New
Year.
